My Prayer App is operated as an independent personal project by Deborah Torobi, based in the United Kingdom. The app is available on iOS and Android and via the web at myprayerapp.uk.

2. How data works in this app

My Prayer App has three distinct modes, each handling data differently:

5. Where your data is stored

Signed-in user data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database platform. Data is stored on servers within the European Union in compliance with UK GDPR.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data to train AI models.

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

Both providers are bound by data processing agreements and comply with applicable data protection law. No other third parties receive your personal data.

7. Sensitive data — prayer content

Prayer content may constitute special category data under UK GDPR Article 9, as it can reveal religious beliefs. We treat all prayer content with the highest level of care.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

9. Children

My Prayer App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify signed-in users by email.
